Research description : We aim to apply statistical mechanics and complex network theory to understand processes in neuroscience. We model pathological brain activity/structure at various spatial and temporal scales and identify brain connectivity abnormalities. We are interested in statistical analysis of EEG data to identify task driven information processing brain networks. We also investigate emergent phenomenon such as synchronization in a system of non-linearly coupled oscillators.
