Inter-disciplinary Courses

 Inter-disciplinary Courses

Faculty in the Physics discipline have been actively involved in teaching core and elective courses in other disciplines. These include

  • ES102 (Computing and Intro. to Computing) –  in this, we overhauled the curriculum as well as the logistics of teaching computing to students from diverse backgrounds,
  • EE311 (Electromagnetic Waves) to third year EE students, and
  • CS611 (Algorithms on Advanced Architectures) which is a CSE elective.

In addition, we are involved in teaching courses jointly with colleagues from HSS discipline – such as, Course on Demography and Design for public health.

Faculty from Physics discipline are also involved in offering B.Tech. projects / topical courses to students from Electrical and Mechanical Engineering branches.
